Train to be an “Ending the Silence” or “In Our Own Voice” Presenter!

NAMI Vermont has a unique opportunity to bring a new program to Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle counties: NAMI Ending the Silence!
This program is an in-school presentation designed to teach middle and high school students about the signs and symptoms of mental illness, how to recognize the early warning signs and the importance of acknowledging those warning signs.
Training: take online, self-paced training and then conduct an in-person mock presentation.
Peers aged 18-30 strongly encouraged to become presenters.

NAMI Vermont is offering training for peers to battle stigma by telling their story. In Our Own Voice is a presentation for the general public to promote awareness of mental illness and the possibility of recovery. NAMI Vermont needs new presenters!
Training: take online, self-paced training and then attend the one-day training in Williston, VT on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019.
Training, supplies/materials, meals, mileage reimbursement, and accommodations*** are all covered!
