1 in 4 Americans will experience major mental illness in their lifetime. This means that you, or someone you know lives with mental illness or has been impacted by mental Illness. As a (volunteer? member?) of NAMI Vermont, I want you to know that You Are Not Alone.
If you want to learn more about major mental illness, recovery and local resources, register now for Mental Illness and Recovery Workshop. The next class will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 9am to 4pm at the Howard Center in Burlington. To register, visit www.namivt.org, email [email protected] or call 1-800-639-6480.
This class is appropriate for all community members who want to learn more about mental illness and recovery, including individuals living with mental illness, family members, friends, professionals, and providers who work directly with people experiencing mental illness.
