NAMI Vermont Events

NAMIWalks Vermont

Every year, community members of all ages gather in downtown Burlington, Vermont to walk Together for Mental Health. This event raises funds for NAMI Vermont’s free programs, raises awareness of mental health and NAMI Vermont services, and helps to combat the stigma surrounding mental health.

Our next walk will take place June 1, 2024. Stay tuned for further details!

Mental Health Advocacy Day

Advocacy Day is when the NAMI Vermont community, other organizations, and advocates join together at the State House to raise their voices in support of mental health, talk with legislators, discuss advocacy strategies and network with other advocates. The next Mental Health Advocacy Day will take place in January 2025.

Annual Business Meeting

Our Annual Business Meeting is when members are able to will vote on the NAMI Vermont Board of Directors slate of candidates and learn about key organizational highlights from the past year. The next meeting will take place November 2024.

Annual Conference

Our annual educational conference is an opportunity for peers, advocates, family members and mental health professionals to gather together online to learn about available resources and services, hear lived experience stories, get information about the latest research in mental health, and to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.

The next conference will take place at the Killington Grand Resort on October 30, 2024.
