May Officially Recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month in Vermont
We are thrilled to announce that the Senate and House adopted House Concurrent Resolution, H.C.R. 257, officially recognizing May 2024 as Mental Health Awareness Month in Vermont. NAMI Vermont is honored to have received an official copy of the resolution from the Secretary of State, which was also sent to the Commissioner of Mental Health.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and advocacy of our NAMI Vermont community. It highlights the importance of raising awareness and providing support for mental health issues. We are immensely grateful to everyone who has supported our efforts and championed mental health initiatives across Vermont.
As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to continuing our work in mental health advocacy, education, and support. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and ensure that everyone in our community has access to the resources they need.
