Volunteers from across Vermont met at the Central Vermont Medical Center last Saturday, October 5 to learn how to teach NAMI Vermont’s original Mental Illness and Recovery Class. The first class will be on Saturday October 19 in White River Junction.
Mental Illness and Recovery is a free day-long course designed for family members, peers and community members who want to learn more about mental illness and recovery.
Participants will learn facts about major mental illness, treatment options, accessing services, crisis prevention, recovery and more. CLICK HERE to learn more about the program.
