The Howard Center staff will present a free training on “Mental Health First Aid,” Friday September 25 from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.
All of us come into contact with people with mental illness, those we know, as well as those we meet in public and may have no connection with. This training is designed to enable everyone to be comfortable when encountering a person who needs assistance and consideration.
The Shelburne Social Services Committee sponsors this training as a way to support all members of the community. Everyone is invited to join this free event. There is a resource guide for each participant, and lunch will be provided!
