We are excited to announce that NAMI Vermont is in the process of implementing a new database system to manage donors, members, and volunteers on one platform: Bloomerang. Our new system will increase staff efficiency and provide a user-friendly online interface for current and prospective constituents. NAMI Vermont staff are especially eager to begin using Bloomerang, and many have already begun preparing for the upgrade by watching training videos, participating in onboarding meetings, and attending seminars.
To make this transition as smooth as possible, our office manager, Margie Lemay, is working with Bloomerang personnel to transfer all our data from the current Microsoft Access database to our new Bloomerang database. Once this process is complete, all volunteer activities will be listed on our public-facing Bloomerang page, and by creating a free account, you will be able to manage your activities with NAMI Vermont.
We anticipate going live with Bloomerang on July 1st. Once our Bloomerang database is live, everyone involved with NAMI Vermont (members, volunteers, and donors) may set up their own account and track their activities with us. Creating an account is free and easy! However, if you have any questions during this process, please contact [email protected]. Once your account is set up, you will be able to monitor all of your engagement with NAMI Vermont in real time. Managing renewals for memberships, making donations, signing up for classes, workshops, and training as a presenter, facilitator, or teacher, as well as volunteering at exhibit tables and more, will become much easier and more streamlined.
