Share your story: Everyone has a story to tell, and we’d love to hear yours!

Support our annual walk: Form a team and fundraise, participate in the walk, and/or help on the day of the event.

Host a local fundraiser: Organize a yard sale, host a fundraising night at a local restaurant, or create a Facebook fundraiser (or something else!).

Help with outreach: Help host a NAMI Vermont exhibit table at community events, walk in a local parade, or distribute NAMI materials in your community and/or online.

Serve on a committee: Serve on one of our various committees or subcommittees.

Be an advocate: Learn how to testify and serve as an advocate to improve the lives of those living with mental illness.

Support others: Become a mental health support group facilitator

Be a mental health educator: Train to teach one of our classes of workshops

Support Group Facilitator (Lead a Support Group for peers or family members/friends for 1.5 hours on a monthly, bimonthly, or weekly basis)

Class Teacher (Teach a six-week class that is offered 1-2x per year or teach an 8-week class offered 1–2x per year. Classes run for 2.5 hours each week.)

Presenter (Participate in a presentation that lasts 1–2.5 hours, 3–5x per year)
